Next week, the United Way of White County will hold it's 5th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament at the Innsbruck Golf Course in Helen, Georgia. This year, 45 sports celebrities will participate in this event to support services provided by the United Way of White County. 20 agencies benefit from this annual tournament. The Honorary Chairman of the event, Darrel Chaney, has supported this event from it's inception five years ago. This year, 40 teams will play the course, with each team including a sports celebrity! Such notables sports figures such as Pat Jarvis and Phil Niekro are two of the famous sports stars that will be playing in this event this year. Ninety-six cents of each dollar received by the charity goes directly to fund United Way services to the community. This is one of the largest special events of the year in White County.
