Alpine Helen Balloon Race - 6/1 - 6/2/2007 at 6 am - 9 pm
20 -30 Hot air Balloon race for the Atlantic Ocean. Local flying, tether rides all weekend., weather permitting. This is an early morning (6:00 am) or early evening event 6:00 pm. Free for attend, and Balloon rides cost vary.

Youth Fishing Days - 6/16/2007 at 8:30 - 4 pm

Summer Sprints -  3rd Event in the LCKC Lanier Racing Series - 6/16/2006 at 8-11 am
This is the 3rd event in the Lanier Racing Series. This is a Sprint Event with 500M and 1000M races. Paddle in any canoe or kayak from Olympic racers to USCA Canoes, Surf Skis, Sea Kayaks and recreational canoes and kayaks. Spectators are FREE. $20 entry fee for Early Registration, $25 entry fee on the day of the event. Register on the first floor of the Olympic Finish Tower. Concessions available at the venue.
